Application to Registration Process

F-1 International Students

Applying to Mission College

After you complete your International Student Application, it will be reviewed and processed within 10 business days. There are several steps to processing your application.

Note: If you are not able to come to Mission College for the start date and want to delay your start date (to start later), please complete Deferral Form.

Step 1 You will receive an email with your student ID number. This means your application process has begun.

Step 2 Your application fee will be processed.
STEP

Step 3 You will receive your I-20 by email. If you are missing any documents, International Student Center will reach out to you.

Applying for F-1 Visa

Step 1 After you receive your I-20, you can pay the SEVIS fee.
STEP

Step 2 Make an appointment for an F-1 visa interview.
STEP

Step 3 Go to the interview.
STEP

Step 4 Receive your visa.

Registering for Classes

After you receive your visa, follow the steps below to register for classes.

Step 1 Arrive in the United States.

Step 2 Check in at Mission College International Student Center.

Step 3 Attend the mandatory orientation.

Step 4 Register for classes and pay your tuition and fees.
