Admissions and Records Forms

Students have several convenient options for submitting forms and requests to the Admissions & Records Office. These can be submitted electronically through Formstack for a streamlined, digital process, or via the Student Portal for specific requests, such as Graduation Applications and Financial Aid documents.

Easily Submit Admissions & Records Forms Online

When handling certain applications or requests, forms may be available as fillable PDFs, allowing for direct completion and electronic submission. It is important to accurately fill out all required fields to avoid any delays in processing. Incomplete or incorrectly filled forms may result in processing delays or the need for additional documentation. Be sure to review the form thoroughly before submitting it to ensure all necessary information is included.

For more complex requests, such as transferring credits or applying for graduation, ensure that you submit all required supporting documents. If you have questions while filling out any forms, our Admissions & Records team is available to assist you through live chat or email.

Credit for Prior Learning

Students may use coursework completed at other institutions to fulfill program, general education, and/or elective unit requirements for the Associate Degree, Associate Degree for Transfer or certificate programs at Mission College. Foreign coursework cannot be used to satisfy requirements for ADTs, CSU or IGETC certifications.

Dual Enrollment Form

Dual enrollment offers high school students the opportunity to earn college credits for free prior to high school graduation.

Graduation Application

Students are encouraged to submit their Graduation Applications in their My Mission Portal during the term they intend to finish their requirements for a degree or certificate.

Dates to Remember

Summer: Opens in early April. Deadline in mid-July.
Fall: Opens in early August. Deadline in late September.
Spring: Opens in early January. Deadline in late February.

Pass/No Pass (P/NP) Grading Policy

Requesting Pass/No Pass Grading

Considering Pass/No Pass (P/NP)? You may choose the P/NP grading option for eligible courses, but you must do so before the last day of instruction (prior to finals week).

How to Check Eligibility - Log in to My Mission Portal and review the Important Dates for your course.

Before You Decide - Consult with a counselor to ensure P/NP aligns with your academic and transfer goals. Appointments and drop-in options are available.

Key Information

Not all courses allow P/NP - Check your syllabus or the college catalog.
The decision is final - Once selected, P/NP cannot be reversed.
Transfer impact - Some universities or majors may not accept a "P" grade. Grading explained: P = C or better (credit awarded) and NP = Below C (no credit).
No GPA impact, but an NP may affect financial aid.
Using VA benefits? Contact the Veterans Resource Center to confirm how P/NP may affect your eligibility.

In some cases, withdrawing from the course may be a better option than P/NP. Speak with a counselor for guidance.
