experience. The Honors Program provides the opportunity to engage in advanced coursework,
collaborate closely with exceptional instructors, and work alongside peers who share
a passion for learning.
Program Entry: There are no entry criteria to join the HP program! Just submit an Honors Contract
to join the HP and gain access to any Honors courses currently offered.
Program Exit Recognition: To receive formal recognition for program completion, you will need to achieve a
minimum 3.25 GPA and complete the requirements for your level of participation (see
Honors Contract).

Recognition Levels
Recognition within the Honors Program is awarded based on the number of Honors units
completed:
Honors Program Participant:
9 Honors units with a minimum grade of “B”(minimum of6 Honors units completed with Mission College)
Participate in the Honors Open House Orientation and at least one other Honors event
Meet with Honors Counselor at least once
Honors Program High Achievement:
12 Honors units with a minimum grade of “B” (minimum of 6 Honors units completed with
Mission College)
Participate in the Honors Open House Orientation and at least two other Honors events
Meet with Honors Counselor at least once
Honors Program Scholar:
15 Honors units (minimum of 9 Honors units completed with Mission College)
Earn minimum “B” grade in at least 12 Honors units
Participate in the Honors Open House Orientation and at least three other Honors events
