• Possible Childcare at Mission’s Child Development Center: Provide your children with a complimentary early education experience while you focus on your studies. This resource helps reduce the stress of finding reliable childcare, allowing you to balance your educational and parenting responsibilities.
• Meal Vouchers: Alleviate food-related concerns with meal vouchers that promote your overall well-being. These vouchers help ensure that you have access to nutritious meals, so you can focus on your studies without the worry of food insecurity.

• Gain admission to EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services): You must first be accepted into the EOPS program to qualify for CARE.
• Assume the role of a single head of household parent: You must be a single parent managing the care and responsibilities of your household.
• Receive CalWORKS/TANF (cash aid) benefits: You must be receiving CalWORKS or TANF benefits for yourself or your child(ren), which supports your financial needs as a single parent.
• Complete a verification of county benefits each semester: You are required to provide a verification of your current county benefits every semester to remain eligible for the program.
