Baleja studied ESL in the IIS Intensive English Program and started her Associate Degree in Biology in the Spring of 2023. In her own words, her experience studying at IIS was amazing!

My classmates are from South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, China, Colombia, Russia, Mexico, and Afghanistan, and I have never experienced so many cultures before.
