A Well-Rounded Education
Humanities is a field that studies human culture and society, including History, literature, Philosophy, and the arts.
Humanities courses also integrate language, Music, literature, film, and religion to help foster a deeper understanding of other people.

Hispanic Roots & Culture (HUM 016A)
Begin with Pre-Columbian civilizations and continue with current Hispanic culture.
Asian Roots & Culture (HUM 020)
An introduction to the lands, people, languages, and culture of Asia beginning with the earliest times and continuing to the present
Intro to Islam (HUM 022)
Learn the origins, history, culture and values of Islam focusing on its origins, basic sources, history, culture, and values.
Hispanic Roots & Culture (HUM 016A)
Begin with Pre-Columbian civilizations and continue with current Hispanic culture.
International Films (HUM 007)
Examine films from Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and the U.S. to explore themes.
African American Culture and Humanities (HUM 018H)
An overview of the humanities through the culture and life experiences of African Americans.
