General and Transfer Studies Programs
Our General and Transfer Studies programs may be a choice for students who have not
yet selected a specific major. Students can choose to earn an Associate of Arts/Liberal
Arts degree focused broadly in the arts, communication, social science or mathematics
and science. Students may also earn one of our Transfer Studies certificates, completing
the general education requirements for either the University of California or the
California State University system.

Workforce Innovation Program
With a strong commitment to preparing our students for career success, Workforce Innovation
support our VTA transportation apprenticeship programs, work experience opportunities,
and career education across the college.
Student-athletes can choose from a variety of transferable courses and career-focused
programs designed to support both academic and athletic success. These offerings help
students balance rigorous training with educational achievement while preparing for
transfer, career advancement, or personal enrichment. Mission empowers athletes to
