Student Life-Analyst

Yesenia is the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a first-generation Latina college graduate. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Sociology and Chicanx Studies from UCLA and has been working in higher education for the past eight years. Most recently she has provided advocacy and educational services to students experiencing sexual/interpersonal violence within the UC Santa Cruz community in addition to serving as a reader for the Office of Admission at Santa Clara University.

In her free time, Yesenia enjoys dancing Mexican baile folclórico with her dance group, Raíces Mestizas, and hanging out with her partner and their puppies.
