Having 15 years of experience in the Hospitality industry, Albert has held just about every operations position in a hotel. He started in the industry as a dishwasher in high school for ARAMARK Food Services.
Albert has taught at Mission College since 2008 and also currently teaches at Santa Rosa Junior College.
His experience in Asia includes working at the Howard Plaza Hotel in Taipei, and teaching a Hospitality Certification Class for ELSI Language School training for Taiwanese hotel employees in hospitality English and wine tasting.
Over the years, he has worked for Four Seasons, Hyatt, Fairmont, Starwood, Intercontinental,
Wyndham, Choice, Interstate, and a number of other independent hotels and resorts.
Early in his career, he was a food and beverage manager overseeing room service, banquets,
catering, and restaurants.
Albert earned a BS from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration and a
China International MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
