Bio
Lorrie Ranck brings nearly 25 years of experience in higher education to the role
of Vice President. She has extensive work across college committees, and has further
served as Acting Vice President of Instruction for two years at De Anza while the
Vice President served as Interim President.
Ranck previously held leadership positions at the University of San Francisco and
Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon. She earned a Master’s in International
Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor’s in Education
from the University of Wyoming.
Her areas of interest and passion include LGBTQII rights and activism, the intersectionality of race, ethnicity, and gender, technology and digital learning, and urban gardening.
