Jennifer is a trained quantitative, qualitative, and critical studies communication researcher. Jennifer's pedagogy and research follow a critical theoretical framework with a deep concentration on identity negotiation, cultural authenticity, media representations, and inclusivity within the academy.
Jennifer received their PhD in Human Communication (emphasis on culture, gender, and popular culture) from the University of Denver. They received their MA and BA in Speech Communication from San José State University.
